You’ve probably already internalized this conclusion: most people won’t hear about you. Most of the population will not know your brand. Most of your audience will not be aware of the existence of your online store.

In a noisy world full of platforms and content, your chances of reaching the relevant audience are not high. And the traditional digital channels have become very expensive (Google, Facebook, Instagram are already less cost-effective)

So what do we do? The solution starts with the term Smallest Effective Audience — (SEA)

Mark the small and effective relevant audience for you and start with them. Search for them in social groups, try to reach them through your friends or through relevant forums. A small audience who have passion for your category or vertical.

SEA is an effective audience willing to listen to you. Those who want to read your content and be ready to spread it further. It’s a good start that produces an initial flywheel.

It’s easy. It doesn’t require a significant budget (just an investment of time and creativity on your part). It works.
